Dear Parents,

Today, I am writing to you myself. We usually write to you together during our Writer's Workshop time, however, today we have been extremely busy with our Halloween activities. We have been switching classes today with the other classrooms in our hallway. They will have a lot of exciting things to share with you when they get home.

They are also going to have tons of things in their folders today.

Dear Family,


This week we celebrated Christopher Columbus. We made a Christopher Columbus. We sang a song about Christopher Columbus. We sang a song about changing our name to start with a different letter. We changed our name to start with /z/ and /t/. That was fun. We had a fire drill and our first lock down drill. We made a Christopher Columbus book today. We finished the second Magic Tree House book, The Knight at Dawn. We had a good week.

Dear Family,

This week we finished reading Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business. We started reading Magic Tree House: The Knight at Dawn. This week we started Rocket Math. We played freeze tag in gym today. We have very exciting news. This week we got a new student. His name is Jason Kuhn. Welcome to Anthony Wayne Jason!
