My new theme for this year is an ocean theme.  I found an ocean themed blog template.  I'm getting very excited about the upcoming school year.  I can't wait to meet my new class.

Dear Family,

Today we made bug jars.  We had fun reading books together.  We  will be earning pretend money for good behavior.  We will be painting today in Art class.  We did Read to Self.  We had fun reading on the Nook in the Book Nook.  We have been brushing our teeth every morning after breakfast.  We had a great trip to the Franklin Public Library.

This week we brushed our teeth.  We got different color toothbrushes.  We played on the playground.  We had a inside recess today because there was smoke outside.  We wrote our abc's backwards.  We did jobs.

Dear Family,

This week we had recess inside, because it was raining outside.  We had our first substitute teachers.  Mr. C was our sub.  We got a new student named Kasey.  We practiced our letters.
School is fun.

Dear Family,

This week we were practicing our reading.  We had fun.  We did Read to Self.  We read books that we can read that are in our book box.  We practice reading so that we can become better readers.  

This week in Math we made 10.  There are 11 ways to make 10.  We made 10 with ten frames and yellow and red counters.  We also used a rainbow.  

We went on a walking field trip to the library. It was fun.
